- Many students have great difficulty with the transition from Middle School to High School. The structure and philosophy of the Ninth Grade Academy (NGA), lends itself to a more personalized school environment providing the extra support needed during the start of the High School experience. Also, the use of Common Planning Time (CPT) allows teachers to collaborate on instruction; individual student needs and progress as well as planning for affective and career exploration experiences.
- We include the needs of Special Education students as well as English Language Learners.

They can take an active role in the decision making necessary for planning, developing and providing an education for children. We at Eduscape can assist with the development of a parent involvement program in your school or district. We can provide training and build capacity for a mutually rewarding and collaborative relationship between the school community and its parents.
Summer Bridge, After School and
Alternative & Evening School Programs
These programs can be created based upon the individualized needs for your school or in consideration of student interest. Data and statistics are used to determine need. Special programs can be designed to help students accelerate, maintain or catch up with their cohort group, provide more personalized instruction for those in need, allow an identified group of students an opportunity to learn on or as close to grade level as possible. This group of students, however small, can prevent your school from meeting Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). Therefore, special programs play an important role in meeting the needs for all students. At Eduscape, we can help by providing guidance and expertise to create an individualized program based on the needs of your students.
New York State Regents Proctoring Schedules
Eduscape can help you create a Regents Examination administration and proctoring schedule to meet the specific needs of your students and staff while maintaining the integrity of scheduled examinations. Individual attention and recommendations will be given in consideration of specific situations through presentations, mentoring and collegial sharing.
College Planning
College planning should begin as early as middle school. Students can be made aware of opportunities and begin to be exposed to college and career choices. In high school, students can be exposed to college and career possibilities through the use of interest surveys such as Career Zone and Harrington-O’Shea in the ninth grade. Course selection, college exploration and visits, PSAT and SAT examinations are some pre-requisites for college application and selection process in senior year. Parents and students alike rely on school personnel for guidance and nurturing through the college selection experience.
Eduscape Associates can help prepare your staff, counselors, students and families for the challenges of college planning. We provide professional development and informational sessions regarding the college application and selection process including financial aid workshops.
